- DNSEvery name is looked up at the root first. A name with nameservers is taken, full stop.
- RDAPUnclaimed names are confirmed with the registry's own records, not a reseller cache.
- WHOISRegistries without RDAP are asked directly on port 43. Nothing is guessed: unsure means unsure.

Each name gets a score out of 100: how well it fits your idea counts four times, how easy it is to say, remember and build a brand on count twice each, and its length once.
- Fit ×4
- Would a stranger guess what the business does from the name alone? An AI judge reads every name against your description.
- Easy to say ×2
- Can it be spelled correctly after hearing it once? Awkward consonant clusters and vowel pile-ups lose points.
- Memorable ×2
- Does it stick after one look? Short, rhythmic, concrete names score higher than generic mashups.
- Brandable ×2
- Could it carry a logo, a tagline and a product line? Names that read as a word, not a phrase, do best.
- Length ×1
- Measured, not judged: five letters or fewer scores full marks, and every extra letter costs one point.
Each criterion is rated 0 to 10, weighted, and turned into a percentage. The judge is told to be strict, so 60 is excellent and most good names land in the 40s. Names that only loosely match your words, come from a mechanical fallback, or use an extension you did not pick lose a few points so on-target names stay on top.
